WHAT WE DO
 

Project Pixel Orbital is a research initiative focused on designing, building, and launching a CubeSat, which is a compact satellite. It is constructed with a fully 3D-printed polymer frame and consumer-grade avionics. Our objective is to successfully deploy a 3U CubeSat by the end of 2026 while keeping total costs under $10,000 USD. Our mission aims to create the first CubeSat ever to rely on a completely 3D-printed plastic structure and primarily consumer-level avionics, significantly reducing costs on satellite development. In the end, we want to inspire fellow students by showing that with innovation, perseverance, and imagination, anything (even reaching space!) is possible.
